A Quiet Start to the New Year

I managed half an hour today tidying the garden. Plenty more to do, but that will be next weekend.... an apple tree to prune in a 'kill or cure' attempt, a vegetable bed to dig, a fence and wall to touch-up, and general tidying.

Also, I have resolved, this is the year I sort out my little concrete yard on the other side of the cottage-with a new surface, and a general make-over. I’m thinking, possibly rather grandiosely; a Mediterranean feel would be nice. We will see how it turns out!
